Abstract

Tujuan dilakukan kerja praktek oleh penulis yaitu membantu Baron’s Barbershop dalam penyelesaian masalah terkait pemasaran. sebelumnya Baron’s Barbershop tidak pernah memperhatikan strategi pemasaran dan menerapkan bauran promosi. Hal tersebut mendorong penulis untuk membantu pemilik Baron’s Barbershop untuk menyelesaikan permasalahannya.Kegiatan kerja praktek di lakukan di Baron’s Barbershop yang berlokasi di jalan perumahan cahaya garden tepatnya di sebelah alfamart cahaya garden sei panas, Batam. Kegiatan kerja praktek berjalan selama 3 bulan mulai dari bulan September 2019 hingga November 2019. Kegiatan awal yang dilakukan penulis yaitu melakukan obsevasi dan wawancara untuk mengetahui informasi atau permasalahan, tahap selanjutnya dilakukan perancangan sistem yang di gunakan untuk penyelesaian masalah. Penerapan bauran promosi pada Baron’s Barbershop oleh penulis tergolong sukses dimana banyaknya perkembangan mulai dari bertambahnya jumlah pelanggan dan juga meningkatnya penghasilan. Penerapan bauran promosi yang dilakukan penulis berupa periklanan dengan memasangkan spanduk di lokasi usaha dan pembuatan kartu stam pada Baron’s Barbershop. ********************************************************************** The purpose of practical work done by the author is to help Baron’s Barbershop in solving marketing-related problems. before Baron’s Barbershop had never paid attention to marketing strategies and implemented a promotional mix. This encourages the writer to help the owner of Baron’s Barbershop to solve the problem. Practical work activities are carried out at Baron’s Barbershop, located on a Cahaya garden street, right next to alfamart Sei Panas, Batam. Practical work activities run for 3 months starting from September 2019 to November 2019. The initial activity undertaken by the author is conducting observation and interviews to find out information or problems, the next stage is to design a system that is used to solve problems. The application of the promotional mix on Baron’s Barbershop by the writer is quite successful where many developments start from increasing number of customers and also increasing income. The application of the promotional mix by the author in the form of advertising by mounting banners at business locations and making stam cards at Baron’s Barbershop.
