Abstract

Akomodasi merupakan suatu tempat penginapan yang paling tepat untuk wisatawan saat melakukan perjalanan destinasi wisata. Akomodasi yang digunakan oleh wisatawan dapat berupa hotel. Hotel merupakan sebuah akomodasi yang telah menyediakan pelayanan dan fasilitas bagi wisatawan. Hotel juga menyediakan berbagai macam makanan dan minuman untuk memenuhi kebutuhan wisatawan. Dalam operasional hotel terbagi menjadi beberapa department, salah satu department penting dalam sebuah hotel adalah pastry and bakery department. Pastry and bakery merupakan salah satu department yang mengolah dan menyediakan produk sebagai pencuci mulut atau penutup makanan. Selama operasional berjalan, hotel juga membutuhkan seorang trainee untuk melaksanakan tugas training di hotel. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana cara pembuatan produk, jam operasional, dan event hotel. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan penulis adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif, yaitu dengan mengobservasi, wawancara, studi pustaka, dan dokumentasi. ********************************************************************** Accommodation is the most appropriate choice for tourists when traveling. Accommodation which used by tourists can be a hotel. Hotel is an accommodation that provide service and facility for tourists. Hotel also present various of food and beverage to fulfill the tourist’s needs. In the operational, hotel divided into some departments, one of them is pastry and bakery department. Pastry and bakery is one of the department that processes and provides products such as dessert. As long as the operational on going, hotel need a trainee to do the hotel job. This research is done to know how to make products, operational hours, and hotel’s event. The method of research is qualitative descriptive method which is observe, interview, study of literature, and documentation.
