Abstract

Pada saat ini pemanasan global menjadi suatu ancaman didunia, pemanasan global dihasilkan peningkatan polusi efek rumah kaca, oleh emisi gas dan faktor lainnya sehingga memberikan dampak negatif bagi lingkungan sekitar. Dari permasalahan tersebut berbagai upaya dilakukan untuk mencegah atau mengurangi efek polusi yang timbul dari aktivitas sehari-hari manusia upaya dan usaha yang adalah dengan menggunakan produk ramah lingkungan atau disebut dengan produk hijau. Menanggapi permasalahan tersebut peneliti ingin mengetahui faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi minat pembelian pada low cost green car di Batam. Pada penelitian ini, peneliti mengimplementasikan teknik purposive sampling yang merupakan non-probability sampling dimana merupakan sebuah teknik yang memilih responden terlebih dahulu sesuai dengan kriteria yang ditentukan oleh peneliti dan tidak dilakukan secara random atau acak. Pada penelitian ini responden merupakan pengunjung pada dealer mobil yang memliki minat dalam memebeli mobil LCGC. Program yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah SPSS versi 22.0 Sesuai dengan penelitian yang dilakukan oleh peneliti, dapat disimpulkan bahwa variabel product knowledge, social influence, price perception, dan environmental attitudes mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap variable buying intention dan sebaliknya bahwa variabel perceived risk tidak mempunyai pengaruh signifikan terhadap buying intention, sehingga bisa disimpulkan bahwa responden masih tidak mengerti dan tahu akan resiko-resiko yang mereka terima ketika membeli/menggunakan produk LCGC. ********************************************************************** Global warming is a threat in the world right now, global warming is caused by the increase of greenhouse gasses and other factor that have negative impact on the environment. From these problems various efforts were made to prevent or reducing the effects of pollution which is made from daily human activities. One of those efforts were to use green product. As the result, researchers wanted to find out any factors that affect consumer purchase intention on buying low cost green car in Batam. In this study purposive sampling method is used by researchers, which is sample selection is not done by randomly but with a criteria that have been determined by researchers. Respondents are required to have a car or have been driving a car. SPSS version 22.0 program is used in this study. According on the result of this study/research, product knowledge, social influence, price perception, and environmental attitudes have positive significant effect to purchase intention while perceived risk has not significant effect on purchase intention from that point of view, we can know that consumers who using LCGC product still have no idea about its risk.
