Abstract

Pembangunan struktur gedung pada kota Batam semakin berkembang seiring untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pokok manusia. Perencanaan pengendalian dari kontraktor dan koordinasi sangat mempengaruhi pembengkakan biaya pada tahap pengerjaan proyek sehingga proses kontruksi dapat berjalan dengan baik. Proses pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah satu dari bagian yang penting dalam suatu penelitian. Data yang diperlukan pada sebuah penelitian wajib tepat, sehingga data dapat dimanfaatkan untuk menyelesaikan masalah penelitian yang terjadi. Oleh karena itu hasil dan kesimpulan yang diperoleh dapat menjadi tidak valid jika pengumpulan data tidak dilaksanakan dengan benar. Tujuan dari metode pengumpulan data ketika melaksanakan penelitian adalah untuk memperoleh data yang akurat dan relevan. Berdasarkan dengan penyelidikan yang dilaksanakan penulis, saran dari peneliti adalah agar di penelitian ataupun penyelidikan selanjutnya di lakukan oleh siapapun dapat meneliti pada variabel P57 pada daerah diluar Indonesia. Kemudian untuk peneliti lain yang ingin menyelidiki faktor cost overrun pada proyek konstruksi di Kota Batam dapat menambah faktor-faktor yang di teliti. Pada subjek penelitian maupun penyelidikan juga dapat dilaksanakan pada developer maupun konsultan. ********************************************************************** Misuse of funds on a project will cause losses to the contractor if the loss is caused by the contractor fault and vice versa. Just like when the writer did practical work which began in March 2018 to June 2018 in one project located in Batam city and the project experienced delays in completing on time due to several factors that occurred while running the project and this made the second the parties suffered losses. The research process in data collection is an important part of a study. Data needed in a study must be precise and reassured, so that data can be used to solve research problems that occur. Therefore the results and conclusions obtained can be chaotic if data collection is not carried out correctly. The purpose of the method of collecting data when carrying out research, is to obtain accurate, reliable and relevant data. Based on the research carried out, the advice of the researcher is that in the next study it can examine the variable P57 in areas outside Batam City. Then for other researchers who want to investigate the cost overrun factor in construction projects in Batam City can add to the factors that are examined. In addition, research subjects can also be done on developers and consultants.
