Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor keragaman terhadap kinerja karyawan di sekolah musik modern kota Batam. Penelitian ini menggunakan variabel latar belakang pendidikan, etnis, jenis kelamin, dan usia yang dijadikan sebagai variabel independen, terhadap variabel kinerja karyawan sebagai variabel dependen, tujuan penelitian ini dilakukan dikarenakan era globalisasi yang semakin kuat dan membuat perusahaan harus terus berupaya dalam hubungan keharmonisan dan kinerja karyawan dalam perusahaan tempat mereka bekerja. Penelitian yang dilakukan ini menggunakan mengambil sebanyak 73 peserta yang diperoleh dari 74 kuesioner yang telah disebarkan di daerah Baloi, Batam Center dan Nagoya, sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling method. Data penelitian yang terkumpul akan diproses menggunakan program Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) versi 21. Dari hasil penelitian yang ditujukan bahwa latar belakang pendidikan, etnis, jenis kelamin dan usia di sekolah musik modern. Dalam penelitian ini, hanya jenis kelamin yang berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan, sisanya tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil kinerja karyawan atau guru di sekolah musik modern di kota Batam. ********************************************************* This research aimed to analyze the factors diversity management of modern music school in Batam. This study aims to use education background, ethics, gender, and age as an independent variable to employee performance as dependent variable. This study uses a sample of 73 respondents that obtained from 74 questionnaires were distributed at Baloi, Batam Centre and Nagoya, the sample that author used is purposive sampling method. And for the research data that has been collected will be examined using the program Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 21. Results of this study showed that education background, ethics, gender, and age at music school modern, only gender have a significant on employee performance, and the rest they don’t have a significant effect on employee performance in Batam.
