Abstract

Persaingan yang ketat di bidang perhotelan memaksa hotel-hotel meningkatkan layanan secara kualitas dan kuantitas, tetapi itu saja tidak cukup. Menjalin interaksi dengan pelanggan dengan lebih ramah dan menjaga mementingkan kepuasan pelanggan maka diperlukan karyawan yang memiliki perilaku OCB atau perilaku yang bekerja diluar dari deskripsi pekerjaan yang seharusnya diemban. Pada penelitian-penelitian terdahulu membuktikan bahwa karyawan yang memiliki perlaku OCB cenderung memberikan kontribusi yang positif terhadap perusahaan. Maka dari itu peneliti disini ingin meneliti faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan karyawan memiliki perilaku tersebut. Metode pemilihan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik non-probability sampling dengan metode purposive sampling yaitu pemilihan sampel tidak secara acak tetapi sesuai dengan kriteria yang telah ditentukan yaitu karyawan yang bekerja di hotel berbintang 4 di kecamatan Batu Ampar, Batam. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menyebarkan 300 kuesioner kepada 6 hotel berbintang 4 di kecamatan Batu Ampar, Batam yaitu, Swiss-Bel Hotel Harbour Bay, Hotel Harmoni, Planet Holiday, Pasific Palace, Hotel Goodway, dan Travelodge Batam. Setelah kuesioner di isi dan di kumpulkan kembali, penulis mengolah data dengan menggunakan progam SPSS versi 22.0 dan Smart PLS versi 3.0 untuk meneliti pengaruh faktor variabel independen terhadap variabel dependen dengan adanya variabel mediasi. Berdasarkan penelitian ini hasil nya yang di dapatkan menunjukkan bahwa hubungan antara kepercayaan organisasi, kepuasan kerja, dan keadilan organisasi terhadap OCB yang dimediasi oleh komitmen organisasi berpengaruh signifikan positif. ********************************************************************** The intense competition in hospitality has forced hotels to improve service in quality and quantity, but that’s not enough. Keeping customer interactions more friendly and maintaining customer satisfaction requires employers with OCB behaviors or behaviors that work outside of the job descriptions that should be carried out. In previous studies proving those employees who have OCB will more contribute positively to the company. Therefore researchers here want to examine the factors that cause employees to have such behavior. Sample selection method used in this study is a non-probability sampling technique with purposive sampling method that is the selection of samples not randomly but in accordance with the predetermined criteria of employees working in 4-star hotel in Batu Ampar district, Batam. The study was conducted by distributing 300 questionnaires to 6 of 4-star hotels in Batu Ampar district, Batam, such as Swiss-Bel Hotel Harbour Bay Hotel, Harmony Hotel, Planet Holiday, Pasific Palace, Goodway Hotel and Travelodge Batam. After the questionnaire in the contents and in the collected again, the authors process data using SPSS version 22.0 and Smart PLS version 3.0 to examine the effect of independent variable factors on the dependent variable in the presence of mediation variables. Based on this research, the results showed that the relationship between organizational trust and OCB mediated by organizational commitment had a significant positive effect, the relationship between job satisfaction and OCB mediated by organizational commitment also had a positive effect, and the relationship between organizational justice towards OCB mediated by organizational commitment proved to have a significant positive effect.
