Abstract
The main purpose of this study was to determine the effect of interest rate, exchange rate, inflation, gold price, and money supply on the composite stock price index (IHSG) in Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI). The analytical method used is by using multiple regression analysis approach with a significance level of 5% and test conclusions drawn based on test result coefficient T and F. Samples were taken from a total of 89 months time series data (January 2001 - May 2014) by using multiple regression were applied to the data with SPSS 21. Results from this study showed the influence of exchange rate, gold price and money supply on the composite stock price index (IHSG) was significant. And interest rate and inflation showed the influence of interest rate and inflation on the composite stock price index (IHSG) was not significant.
