Abstract

A platform is an offshore construction for exploration, production and storage oil and gas. One of them is fixed platform. Fixed platform is an offshore construction in the middle depth water which consists of jacket and deck. Jacket has function as supporting deck. There are kinds of jacket; 8 legs, 6 legs, 4 legs and 3 legs (tripod). Fabrication of 8 legs jacket is the most difficult since it needs to be separated per row first and combine them after. The main activity to combine the rows is rotating them at longitudinal axis which called roll up jacket. Analysis will be doing in this thesis are roll up procedure, forced distribution, element and equipment analysis for fabrication aids in fabricating jacket. The planned analysis consists of load reaction, from structural analysis program and what reaction appears in the process of roll up jacket. The first step in the procedure is to find out data analysis, such as to collect drawings, calculate weight elements and make structural illustration in the program. The results in the program should be calculated are element strength ratio, joint ratio, sling ratio and equipment ratio. This procedure is according to design code of AISC-ASD (American Institute of Steel Construction method, Allowable Steel Design) 21st Edition and API RP2A-WSD (American Petroleum Institute method, Working Stress Design) 9th Edition. After finishing structural analysis, the results of element ratio, joint ratio, sling ratio and equipment ratio are less than 1, except one equipment has 1,007 of ratio but still considerably save since its safety factor is 1,5 and its contingency loaded-factor is 10%. This structure endangers to fabricate if there is synergy worked well and accuracy supervision in doing fabrication and installation in the yard. Key Word: Pendistribusian Gaya pada Roll up Jacket
