Abstract

The main purpose of this study was to explore the importance of job satisfaction. This study is to examine the impact of workplace support and job satisfaction with role overload as intervening variable. Method for the Samples selection is using non-probability method with purposive sampling and the population is employee in Batam who is working in 4 star Hotel by totals sample as much 250 respondents. Statistical method used to test the research hypothesis are simple regression and multiple regression. The result of 250 respondents reveals that workplace support have significant positive relationship with job satisfaction. Key word: Workplace Support, Job Satisfaction, Role Overload.
