Abstract

This study aims at examining the determinants of employee performance. The dependent variable used in this analysis is work performance.The independent variables used in this analysis is perception of developmental performance appraisal (goal setting and feedback). The Intervening variables are intrinsic work motivation and affective organisational commitment. The Moderating is autonomy orientation. Subjects in this research is employees whose working manufacture company at Batamindo Industrial Park at Batam. This research use sample 200 people and sampling through determination sampling convenience. Statistic method used in this study is multiple regression method, and analyzed using Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) program. This study shows that perception of developmental PA has a significance effect on intrinsic work motivation and affective organisational commitment. Intrinsic work motivation and affective organisational commitment have significance effect on work performance. Perceptions of developmental PA has a significance effect on work performance through autonomy orientation as moderating variable.
