Abstract
Fundamental analysis is one of the common alternative in assessing investment that should be chosen by investor. Many investors was influenced by the number of ratios that given from related company. Learning from this situation, it is a wise decision for company to decide what kind of fundamental information that should be released for shareholders and investors. In order to help company reveal the most appropriate fundamental information for affecting shareholder value, this research was taken out. The main purpose of this research is analyzing the effect of liquidity ratio, asset efficiency ratio, leverage, expense control, profitability and dividend information toward shareholder value. This research populations is consist of companies listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Samples used in this research were selected using purposive sampling method. This research use 44 companies or 220 observation data that published its financial statement on December 31 for the year 2005 until year 2009. The research result shows that leverage, expense control, profitability, and dividend information have a significant effect on shareholder value. The results also indicate that liquidity ratio and asset efficiency ratio have no significant effect on shareholder value.
