Abstract

Internships are vital program for colleges students. Internship allow them to experience real job, increased understanding about organization, and providing them with realistic expectation about their career. This study was aimed at determining how emotional job demand and emotional awareness affect the emotional display rules , and social support will moderate the effect of emotional display rules on job satisfaction for colleges students during internship. Sample were 3 university students and 4 vocational student who in internship. Sampling method was used purposive sampling. Hypothesis were tested using multiple regression and residual test. The result showed, that (1) emotional job demands affect the emotional display rules, (2) emotional awareness influence emotional display rules, (3) emotional display rules influence on job satisfaction, (4) social support is a moderating variable in relations emotional display rules on job satisfaction for colleges students during internship.
