Abstract

The purpose of this research is to investigate the effect of job stress and organization culture with job satisfaction, motivation with perception of management on career development, motivation with loyalty, job satisfaction with turnover intent. Job Stress, organization culture, and motivation as independent variables, and job satisfaction, perception of management on career development, loyalty, and turnover intent as dependent variables. The population in this study were all employees who work at Shiyard companies in Batam. The sample is 180 employees from manager, supervisor, staf human resources manager, welder, vitter, and Helper and located in Batam who company engaged in Shipyard. The sampling method used in this research is nonprobability method with purposive sampling technique. Data collection method which is used in this research is survey method with interview technique and questionnaires. This research uses multiple regression and linear regression. The results of this research showed that job stress affect job satisfaction, organization culture did not affect job satisfaction, motivation affect perception of management on career development, motivation affect loyalty, and job satisfaction did not affect turnover intent.
