Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that influence the role stress on university students who work and new entrepreneurs in Batam.The University that was taken in this research such as Universitas Internasional Batam, Universitas Batam, Universitas Putera Batam and Universitas Kepulauan Riau. Meanwhile,the Mall that was taken in this research are BCS Mall, Mega Mall, Nagoya Hill and DC Mall. The results showed that the adult attention deficit impact on role stress. The lack of an effective task management system impact on role stress. Venture technology impact on role stress. Venture environment impact on role stress. Entrepreneur personality impact on role stress Statistical methods used to test the research hypothesis is a multiple regression method with the individual level of analysis units. As an independent variable are adult attention deficit, the lack of an effective task management system, venture technology, venture environment, entrepreneur personality, while as the dependent variable is the role stress. Primary data obtained directly from the object of research. Research respondents are student who work and new entrepreneurs. A total of 135 questionnaires distributed to university student who work and 135 questionnaires to new entrepreneurs. Sampling method used is the sample selection based on judgment (judgment sampling). The results showed that the adult attention deficit impact on role Stress. The lack of an effective task management system impact on role stress. Venture technology impact on role stress. Venture environment impact on role stress. Entrepreneur personality impact on role stress.
