Abstract

The curent research examines the relationship between consumer financial knowledge and locus of control on financial behavior. Ethnicity is included as a potential moderator of the effects of these three variables of financial behavior. The research use regression model. The purpose of this study is to test whether there is influence between locus of control and financial knowledge as the independent variable as the dependent variable Responsible financial management behavior. Survey methods conducted by distributing questionnaires and 230 questionnaires the return of 100%. The surveys collects detailed information on individual level banker in Batam. Variabel independen is locus if control and financial knowledge. Variabel dependen is responsible financial management behavior.The result of this study present locus of control signifikan with responsible financial management behavior and financial knowledge signifikan with responsible financial management behavior.
