Abstract

The problems examined in this study is whether self-awareness, self regulation, motivation, empathy and social skills to simultaneously have an influence on the success of the leadership of the auditor. The population in this study is the auditor who worked in public accounting. The samples taken by purposive sampling technique which amounts to 66 auditors. Independent variables in this study is self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, empathy and social skills while the dependent variable is the success of the leadership of the auditor. Methods of data collection was conducted by questionnaire. The collected data were analyzed with multiple linear analysis methods. The results showed that simultaneous introduction of self-awareness, self regulation, motivation, empathy and social skills significantly influence the success of the leadership of the auditor. The results showed a variable of self awareness, self-regulation, motivation, empathy and social skills contribute to the variable bound by 37.8% while the remaining 62.2% influenced by other factors not included in this study.
