Abstract

Saat ini multimedia memegang peranan yang sangat penting dalam bidang-bidang tertentu seperti komunikasi, bisnis, pendidikan, dan industri, karena memiliki kemampuan penyampaian informasi yang lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan metode lainnya. Salah satu kelebihan multimedia adalah untuk lebih menarik indra serta minat, karena merupakan kombinasi dari opini, suara dan tindakan yang dirancang untuk menyampaikan informasi kepada publik. Adapun masalahnya adalah masyarakat mengetahui makna problema pandemi covid-19, dampak ekonomi dan cara bertahan. Hasil akhir dari penelitian ini berupa sebuah film dokumenter dengan format berupa video. Manfaat dari dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kreativitas generasi muda dalam proses produksi dokumenter, dan bertujuan untuk menemukan cara mengaplikasikan ilmu IT multimedia pada produksi dokumenter. Metode Penelitian digunakan oleh penulis dengan melakukan metode pendataan, yaitu kepustakaan, observasi, wawancara, metodologi MDLC yaitu Analisis, Perancangan, Pengambilan Gambar dan Capturing, editing, rendering dan dubbing, Uji coba, serta implementasi. Hasil akhir dari penelitian berupa film Dokumenter dalam bentuk video yang disebar melalui media sosial media yaitu youtube.--------------Development of multimedia these day has a very large role in the fields of communication, business, education and industry. Information delivery is more dynamic and effective. The advantage of multimedia is that it is able to attract senses and interests because it is a combination of views, sounds, and movements that provide clarity of information conveyed to the public. The problem is that people know the meaning of the Covid-19 pandemic problem, economic impact and how to survive. The purpose of this research project is to produce a documentary film that will be finalized as a video. The benefit of this research is to increase the creativity of young people in making documentary films and aims to produce ways of applying multimedia IT science in the application of producing documentary films. The research method used is the method of data collection, namely literature, observation, interviews, MDLC methodology, namely Analysis, Design, Image Taking and Capturing, editing, rendering and dubbing, testing, implementation. The results obtained from this research are expected to form the production of documentary films in the form of videos which are distributed through social media, callled youtube.
