Abstract
PT. ASUS Technology Indonesia Batam merupakan perusahaan penanam modal asing yang bergerak dibidang perakitan elektronik high technology dan berfokus dalam perakitan alat komunikasi nirkabel. Alat komunikasi yang dimaksud ialah smartphone yang dikenal dengan nama Zenfone. PT. ASUS Technology Indonesia Batam sendiri merupakan bagian dari perusahaan IT raksasa asal Taiwan, ASUS, sehingga dalam menjalankan kegiatan usahanya, setiap departemen dipimpin langsung oleh seorang senior manager dari Taiwan baik dengan sistem pengawasan jarak jauh maupun sistem pengawasan secara langsung dengan memutasi senior manager tersebut ke Indonesia. Kekosongan posisi manager bagian humaniora di PT. ASUS Technology Indonesia Batam dan kurangnya pengetahuan anggota humaniora terhadap perjanjian hubungan kerja menyebabkan PT. ASUS Technology Indonesia Batam tidak pernah menggunakan perjanjian hubungan kerja dalam bentuk tulisan. Selain daripada itu, para pekerja pun hanya memiliki pengetahuan yang amat rendah mengenari hak-haknya sebagai pekerja. Oleh karena hal tersebut, penulis tertarik untuk melakukan kerja praktik di PT. ASUS Technology Indonesia Batam dengan target luaran perjanjian hubungan kerja yang sesuai dengan peraturan perundang-undangan Indonesia khususnya Undang-Undang Nomor 13 Tahun 2013 tentang Ketenagakerjaan dan peraturan perusahaan yang berlaku di PT. ASUS Technology Indonesia Batam. Kerja praktik ini dilakukan selama kurang lebih tiga bulan lamanya yakni dari bulan Mei 2019 hingga Juli 2019 dengan metode empiris yuridis dan metode terapan. Adapun kerja praktik ini terbagi menjadi tiga tahapan yakni: 1. Tahap Persiapan, tahap untuk mengumpulkan data dan informasi; 2. Tahap Pelaksanaan, tahap untuk menganalisis permasalahan dan informasi yang diperoleh serta menyajikan solusi; 3. Tahap Penilaian dan Pelaporan, tahap yang mana hasil kerja praktik dituangkan dalam bentuk laporan serta memperoleh penilaian dari penyelia maupun pembimbing. ********************************************************************** PT. ASUS Technology Indonesia Batam is a foreign investor company which active as high technology electronic manufacture and focus in manufacturing wireless communication devices. The mentioned communication devices refers to smartphones which known with the name Zenfone. PT. ASUS Technology Indonesia is actually a part of a giant Taiwanese IT company known as ASUS so in work flow process, every department in PT. ASUS Technology Indonesia Batam is being supervised by a senior manager from Taiwan. The supervising could be long distance supervision or direct supervision by mutating the senior manager to Indonesia. Aside from that, author believe that the absent of managerial position in PT. ASUS Technology Indonesia Batam’s human resource department and the lack of knowledge of human resource officers causing PT. ASUS Technology Indonesia Batam never bother to make written work contracts for their employees. The other factor is that knowing the employee also very ignorant and have so little knowledge regarding their own right as an employee is really take a toll work contract making process in this company. Therefore, author is interested in do internship project at PT. ASUS Technology Batam by making creating a suitable work contract for them as author’s internship output goal. The contract will be based on act 13 of 2003 and of course PT. ASUS Technology Indonesia Batam’s internal regulation. Author will do this internship project for around 3 months, starting from May 2019 to July 2019 using empirical method, judicial judgment, and practical solution. This internship is divided into three main periods: 1. Preparation Period, in this period, author will gather as much data and information available; 2. Implementation Period, in this period, author will analyze every data and information gathered, created desired output, and do implementation to the company; 3. Reporting and Scoring, in this period, author will organize everything that has been done during first and second period into a report and let related company as well as lecturer to give score.
