Abstract

Klien dari proyek kerja praktek yang dilakukan merupakan sebuah UMKM di Kota Batam yang bernama Restoran La Vintage. Restoran tersebut beroperasi di Universitas Internasional Batam (UIB) dengan target berupa mahasiswa-mahasiswi yang sedang menjalankan aktivitas perkuliahannya. Restoran La Vintage menawarkan produk yang beraneka ragam seperti pastry, cake, maupun western food yang disesuaikan dengan tema yang diusung. Dalam menjalankan aktivitas rutinnya, Restoran La Vintage menghadapi masalah terkait penyajian laporan keuangannya. Selama ini, sistem pencatatan yang digunakan adalah dengan merekap transaksi dalam sebuah buku catatan secara manual dan kemudian dipindahkan ke Microsoft Excel. Hal tersebut menyebabkan pemilik mengalami kesulitan dalam memperoleh informasi berupa laporan kinerja perusahaannya. Tujuan utama dari proyek tersebut adalah untuk menghasilkan sebuah rancangan sistem akuntansi yang handal serta mematuhi standar yang berlaku untuk dapat diaplikasikan pada La Vintage. Rancangan sistem tersebut diharapkan dapat mempermudah pemilik usaha untuk mendapatkan informasi terkait laporan keuangan perusahaannya sehingga dapat memberi kontribusi secara langsung dalam kegiatan operasionalnya. ********************************************************************** Client of this practical work was a Small and Medium Business in Batam City known as La Vintage Restaurant. The restaurant operate in Universitas Internasional Batam (UIB) with college student whose studying there as their main target. La Vintage Restaurant offered various products such as pastry, cake, and western food. When operating their routine activities, La Vintage Restaurant faced a problem about their financial statement reporting. All this time, they record the transaction manually on a notebook and recap it in Microsoft Excel program. This situation made it difficult for the owner to get accurate information about the financial report of the entity. The main goal from this project is to deliver a design of accounting system which obeys the current standard and can be applied at La Vintage. The system is expected to help the owner in collecting financial report information so it can contribute directly in the operational activity.
