Abstract

Kegiatan wajib yang harus dilaksanakan mahasiswa UIB untuk proses kelulusan adalah dengan kerja parktik ini yang dilaksanakan pada UMKM jasa yang bernama Kelvin Laundry. Pelaksanaan kerja praktik ini diproses demi mensubstitusikan sistem Kelvin Laundry yang masih hand-operated¬ menjadi sistem yang berfitur otomatis. Kerja praktik ini diproses dari tanggal 1 Agustus 2019 s.d. 28 Februari 2020 kemudian dilakukan penilaian melalui kunjungan oleh Dosen Pembimbing. Pelaksanaan kerja praktik ini dimulai dari pengumpulan data di mana penulis menggunakan teknik data primer yaitu dengan mewawancarai pemilik Kelvin Laundry secara langsung kemudian untuk memastikan keakuratan data yang diberikan, penulis melakukan observasi terhadap lingkungan operasional berlangsung. Selanjutnya sistem akuntansi berbasis web mulai dirancang dan dijalankan melalui aplikasi XAMPP control panel. Sebelum diimplementasikan, penulis melakukan percobaan terlebih dahulu dan merevisi error yang terjadi pada sistem. Hasil penerapan sistem membuahkan perubahan yang baik bagi Kelvin Laundry di mana kini pemilik bisa mengetahui laba dan rugi serta kinerja operasional yang dialami Kelvin Laundry dengan cepat dan akurat tanpa melakukan perhitungan manual lagi. ********************************************************************** The mandatory activity that must be carried out by UIB students for the graduation process is by doing this practical work which is carried out on a service small medium enterprise named Kelvin Laundry. This practical work is processed in order to substitute Kelvin Laundry’s old system which is still hand-operated to become an automatic featured system which is web based. This practical work is processed from 1 August 2019 until 28 February 2020 was then assessed through a visit by the Lecturer. The implementation of this practical work starts from data collection where the authors use primary data techniques by interviewing the owner of Kelvin Laundry directly then to ensure the accuracy of the data provided, the author did observations on the operational environment takes place. Then the web based accounting system started to be designed and run through a application called XAMPP control panel. Before it is implemented, the author will first test it and fix the errors that occur in the system. The results of the application of system have done a transformation to Kelvin Laundry where the owner can now find out the profit or loss and operational performance experienced by Kelvin Laundry quickly and accurately without doing manual calculations again
