Abstract

PT. IntriCon Indonesia adalah salah satu perusahaan manufaktur elektronik di Kepulauan Riau khususnya di Kota Batam. PT. IntriCon Indonesia yang berlokasi di Kawasan Industri Batamindo yang terletak di Lot. 202 adalah perusahaan yang memproduksi alat bantu dengar (Hearing Aid) dan microphone untuk kebutuhan aerobic, pemadam kebakaran, & penerbangan. Dalam proses manufacturing di PT. IntriCon Indonesia, ada salah satu proses manufaktur dimana produk yang bernama Boom Mic dengan series Boom Mic 761, Boom Mic 736, Boom Mic 756 yang memiliki spesifikasi waterproof. Produk tesebut harus dilakukan Immersion Test sebelum proses Tester di Acoustic Test Room. Proses Immersion Test dilakukan dengan memasukkan sampling 5-10 pcs unit kedalam tabung berisi air dengan kedalaman 1 meter selama 30 menit. Kemudian dikeluarkan & dikeringkan dengan menepuk-nepuk unit pada kain kering, untuk mengeringkan unit dari sisa air yang masuk kedalam unit tersebut. Disini penulis melihat ada sedikit kendala dalam menggeringkan unit tersebut, dimana proses pengeringan dilakukan manual. Dengan ini, penulis mencoba membuat suatu mesin pengering otomatis untuk model Boom Mic agar proses pengeringan lebih efisien. ********************************************************************** PT. IntriCon Indonesia is a one of the electronics manufacturing companies in Riau Islands, especially in Batam City. PT. IntriCon Indonesia, located in Batamindo Industrial Estate located in Lot. 202 is a company that produces hearing aids (Hearing Aid) and microphones for aerobic, fire fighting & aviation needs. In the manufacturing process at PT. IntriCon Indonesia, there is a manufacturing process where a product called Boom Mic with Boom Mic 761 series, Boom Mic 736, Boom Mic 756 which has waterproof specifications. The product must be carried out an Immersion Test before the Tester process in the Acoustic Test Room. The Immersion Test is carried out by inserting a sample of 5-10 pcs units into a water tube with a depth about 1 meter around 30 minutes. Then removed & dried by patting the unit on a dry cloth, to dry the unit from the remaining water that enters the unit. Here the authors see there are few obstacles in drying the unit, where the drying process is done manually. With this, the author tries to make an automatic drying machine for the Boom Mic model so that the drying process is more efficient.
