Abstract

Kegiatan kerja praktek lapangan yang dilaksanakan oleh penulis agar atau bertujuan untuk membangun, serta merancang sebuah sistem informasi berbasis website dengan tujuan membantu Bay City Live Seafood Restaurant untuk mempromosikan kuliner makanannya kepada masyarakat luas serta memungkinkan pengunjung website tersebut untuk melakukan reservasi secara online. Website dibangun menggunakan beberapa bahasa pemograman yang terdiri dari back end dan front end, untuk bagian back end penulis menggunakan bahasa pemograman C# atau biasa dikenal dengan C Sharp dengan menggunakan framework atau kerangka kerja dari micosoft yaitu ASP..NET Core. Penulis menggunakan konsep MVC atau dikenal dengan Model View Controller untuk penataan struktur folder. Bagian front end, penulis menggunakan HTML (Hypertext Markup Language), CSS (Cascading Style Sheet), Javascript serta bootstrap untuk merancang tampilan halaman website. Kegiatan praktek ini menghasilkan sebuah sistem informasi yang berjalan di platform website yang dimana diimplementasikan secara online atau website tersebut dihosting pada server dengan tujuan supaya website Bay City Live Seafood Restaurant kulinernya dapat dikenal luas oleh masyarakat. Kata Kunci: Website sebagai media promosi, ASP.NET Core, C#. ********************************************************************** Raternship activities carried out by the author in order to or aim to build, and design a website-based information system with the aim of helping the Bay City Live Seafood Restaurant to promote its culinary food to the wider community and allow visitors to the website to make online reservations. Website is built using several programming languages consisting of back end and front end, for the back end the author uses the C # programming language or commonly known as C Sharp by using the framework or framework of Microsoft that is ASP..NET Core. The author uses the concept of MVC or known as the Model View Controller for structuring the folder structure. The front end, the author uses HTML (Hypertext Markup Language), CSS (Cascading Style Sheet), Javascript and bootstrap to design the appearance of the website pages. This practical activity produces an information system that runs on a website platform which is implemented online or the website is hosted on a server with the aim that the Bay City Live Seafood Restaurant website can be widely known by the public.
