Abstract

Secara umum pengertian dari pondasi adalah struktur bangunan yang terletak pada bagian bawah sebuah bangunan konstruksi, yang mana memilki fungsi menyalurkan atau menstranfer beban yang ada diatasnya ke tanah keras atau batuan. Untuk itulah sebuah pondasi harus didesain dan diperhitungkan dengan benar agar bangunan yang ditopang oleh pondasi tidak runtuh. Pada umumnya jenis dari pondasi dapat dibagi menjadi 2 (dua), yaitu pondasi dangkal (shallow foundation) dan pondasi dalam (deep foundation). Pada proyek pembangunan dermaga curah tersebut, pondasi dalam sangat cocok digunakan karena pembangunan dermaga merupakan konstruksi berat. Penulis melakukan kegiatan Kerja Praktek di salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang konstruksi yang ada di Batam yaitu PT. Jaya Multi Karya yang mana perusahaan tersebut memiliki beberapa proyek yang ada di Batam salah satunya iyalah pada Proyek Pembangunan dan Pengembangan Dermaga Curah Kabil Batam yang berada di kecamatan Nongsa. Maksud dan tujuan dari kegiatan kerja praktek ini untuk menganalisa tentang teknik pelaksanaan pemancangan di area trestle pada proyek pembangunan dermaga curah kabil. Sekitar kurang lebih 3 bulan penulis akan melaksanakan Praktek Kerja Lapangan terhitung dari tanggal 23 Maret 2019 sampai 23 Juni 2019. For this reason, a foundation must be designed and calculated correctly so that the building supported by the foundation does not collapse. In general, the type of foundation can be divided into 2 (two), namely shallow foundation and deep foundation. In the bulk dock construction project, the deep foundation is very suitable because the construction of the pier is a heavy construction. The author conducts Job Training activities in one of the companies engaged in the field of construction in Batam, namely PT. Jaya Multi Karya, which the company has several projects in Batam, one of which is the Batam Kabil Bulk Pier Development and Development Project located in Nongsa sub-district. The purpose and objective of this practical work activity is to analyze the engineering implementation of the design in the trestle area on the bulk kabil dock construction project.
