Abstract

Tujuan dari kerja praktek merupakan untuk melatih kemampuan mahasiswa dalam lapangan beserta mempersiapkan mahasiswa untuk menghadapi lingkungan kerja. Selain dari itu, kerja praktek juga bertujuan untuk memberikan kesempatan bagi mahasiswa untuk menerapkan teori-teori yang telah mereka pelajari di kelas terhadap lapangan kerja. Kerja praktek tersebut bersifat wajib untuk mahasiswa mendapatkan gelar Strata Sarjana. Pembangunan Hotel Santika dilakukan oleh PT. Prambanan Dwipaka sebagai kontraktor dan PT. Multi Daya Investama sebagai owner dan konsultan manajemen konstruksi. Bangunan tersebut akan dibangun sebagai hotel 10 tingkat dan 1 lantai basement. Selama jangka waktu kerja praktek, proyek pembangunan Hotel Santika dengan pekerjaan pembangunan dinding penahan tanah (retaining wall) telah direncanakan dan dibangun sesuai dengan regulasi PBI 1971 dan SNI 8460:2017. ********************************************************************** The reason of this internship is to hone the students’ knowledge on civil engineering in every aspect, whether on site or off site, and to train and prepare students for their future job prospects on civil engineering as well as to develop what they had studied before during college. This internship is a mandatory assignment in which every student must undergo in order to acquire a college degree. The construction project of Hotel Santika is being done by PT. Prambanan Dwipaka as the contractor and PT. Multi Daya Investama as the owner as well as the construction management consultant. The property built will be used as a hotel and it is designed to 10 floors with 1 basement. Throughout the internship of the writer in which the writer analyzes, the design and construction of the retaining wall of Hotel Santika has been in the standards of PBI 1971 and SNI 8460:2017.
