Abstract

Dengan perkembangannya teknologi komputer yang sangat pesat, seiring dengan peningkatannya kebutuhan layanan yang efektif dan efisien. Penggunaan sistem jaringan komputer saat ini sudah menjadi kebutuhan yang wajib dimiliki oleh perusahaan atau organisasi pada era digital saat ini. Pada kerja praktik ini penulis bertujuan untuk meimplementasikan sebuah sistem filtering jaringan dengan menggunakan firewall mikrotik untuk PT. Puri Agung Propertindo, agar karyawan pada perusahaan dapat menggunakan jaringan internet pada saat bekerja lebih baik dan lancar. Proses kerja praktik ini membutuhkan waktu kurang lebih empat bulan, yakni dari bulan Januari 2018 sampai dengan bulan April 2018. Proses-proses yang dilakukan antara lain adalah: pengumpulan data, analisis masalah dan kebutuhan, perancangan dan implementasi, dan pengujian. Setelah melakukan implementasi dan pengujian sistem filtering jaringan pada PT. Puri Agung Propertindo, maka penulis dapat mengambil kesimpulan bahwa dengan dilakukan filtering jaringan ini sehingga ada situs yang diblokir pada jaringan internet internal perusahaan maka akses jaringan internet pada perusahaan lebih lancar. ********************************************************************** With the rapid development of computer technology, along with the increasing need for effective and efficient services. The use of computer network systems today has become a necessity that must be owned by companies or organizations in the digital era today. In this practical work the author aims to implement a network filtering system using mikrotik firewall for PT. Puri Agung Propertindo, so that employees at the company can use the internet network when working better and smoothly. This practical work process takes approximately four months, ie from January 2018 until April 2018. The processes undertaken include: data collection, problem analysis and needs, design and implementation, and testing. After implementing and testing network filtering system at PT. Puri Agung Propertindo, the authors can conclude that by doing this network filtering so that there is a site that is blocked on the internal internet network company then the internet network access on the company more smoothly.
