Abstract
Restoran Bungoprak, didirikan pada tahun 2016, adalah sebuah restoran yang berfokus pada makanan korea dan merupakan bagian dari CV Karya Batam Sejahtera. Mereka mempromosikan makanan dan menu baru melalui Instagram, namun hanya foto, hal ini membuat kegiatan promosi Bungoprak menjadi terbatas, penulis mengusulkan metode menggunakan produk multimedia berupa video untuk meningkatkan keefektifan pesan yang ingin disampaikan oleh Bungoprak. Penulis memilih untuk membuat video promosi tentang mie ramen yang popouler bernama “Samyang” karena sedang trending di media sosial. Video tersebut di upload ke Instagram dan berhasil mengumpulkan sekitar 1000 views. Video tersebut sukses mempromosikan Samyang Cheese ramen kepada followers Bungoprak dan masyarakat umum. ********************************************************************** Bungoprak restaurant, found in 2016, is a restaurant focused on korean cuisine and is also part of CV Karya Batam Sejathera. It mainly promotes it’s food and new menus on social media Instagram, but is only limited to photos. This makes the media in which Bungoprak operates on limited, and thus we proposed a method which uses video as a multimedia product to increase the effectiveness of Bungoprak’s message. We chose to create a promotional video of a popular type of ramen noodles called “Samyang” because it is trending in social media. The video is uploaded to Instagram, and accumulated over a thousand views, it successfully promoted the Samyang Cheese ramen to Bungoprak’s Instagram followers and to the general public.
