Abstract

Kerja praktek merupakan salah satu kuliah wajib yang harus di tempuh oleh mahasiswa Universitas Internasional Batam (UIB). Kerja praktek untuk mengimplementasikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang didapat mahasiswa selama perkuliahan berlangsung, selain itu kerja praktek juga mencetak tenaga kerja yang handal dan berkompeten dibidangnya, dengan mewajibkan kerja praktek ini mahasiswa bisa belajar proses kerja secara langsung dilapangan tempat mahasiswa melaksanaka kerja piraktek. Kerja praktek bukan hanya mengetahui proses kerja dilapangan tetapi kerja praktek juga melatih mental mahasiswa dalam bekerja nantinya. Pondasi merupakan salah satu bagian dari kontruksi bangunan yang berfungsi untuk menempatkan bangunan dan meneruskan beban yang disalurkan dari struktur atas ketanah dasar pondasi yang cukup kuat menahan tanpa terjadinya kegagalan pada sistem strukturnya. Jenis – jenis pondasi ditentukan oleh berat bangunan dan keadaan tanah sekitar. Jenis pondasi dibagi menjadi dua yaitu pondasi dangkal dan pondasi dalam, pondasi dangkal terdiri dari pondasi tapak, pondasi memanjang, pondasi tikar, pondasi rakit, pondasi sumuran, pondasi umpak, dan pondsi plat beton jalur. Sedangkan pondasi dalam terdiri dari pondasi tiang pancang, dan pondasi caissons (bored pile). Daya dukung bored pile dapat diperoleh berdasarkan daya dukung ujungnya (end bearing capacity). Yang diperoleh dari daya dukung geser yang biasanya diperoleh dari daya dukung gesekan atau gaya adhesi antara bored pile dan gaya tanah disekelilingnya. ********************************************************************** Practical work is one of the obligatory lectures that must be taken by students of the International University of Batam (UIB). The type of foundation is divided into two: shallow foundation and deep foundation, shallow foundation consists of footprint foundation, elongation foundation, mat foundation, raft foundation, foundation of foundation, foundation, and concrete plate plate. While the foundation in consists of pile foundation, and foundation caissons (bored pile). The carrying capacity of bored pile can be obtained based on end bearing capacity. It is obtained from the shear support capacity normally obtained from the frictional carrying capacity or the adhesion force between the bored pile and the surrounding soil forces.
