Abstract

Terminal merupakan salah satu bagian dari infrastruktur yang memfasilitasi para penggunanya dalam melakukan perjalanan dari suatu tempat ke tempat lain dengan bantuan moda angkutan darat yang mampu menampung banyak masyarakat yang akan menggunakan (waktu tertentu) dan tetap akan dilakukan perawat secara berkala baik dari segi infrastruktur dan sarana pendukungnya. Dipilihnya terminal Muka Kuning sebagai objek penelitian dengan pertimbangan terminal ini beroperasi pada jam pagi dan sore yang dapat menampung 2000 penumpang dengan kapasitas daya tampung kendaraan 500 kendaraan yang menarik perhatian peneliti untuk melakukan evaluasi uji kelayakan penggunaan terminal Muka Kuning sebagai sarana infrastruktur pendukung sistem transportasi di Kota Batam. Dalam evaluasi ini peneliti menggunakan metode survey untuk menemukan nilai data indikator skala indeks dari range rata rata nilai 1-5 untuk mendapatkan nilai kepuasan masyarakat terhadap infrastruktur terminal, sehingga hasil yang didapatkan diharapkan mampu menunjukkan secara lebih spesifik. Dari hasil evaluasi diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa fasilitas yang dimiliki oleh terminal Muka Kuning tidak efisien. Hal tersebut diperoleh dari nilai rata rata indeks fasilitas dengan nilai 2,4 untuk pemberhentian angkutan (Buruk), 1 untuk toilet (Sangat Buruk), 2,56 untuk ruang tunggu (Buruk) dan 1,57 untuk pemberhentian kendaraan umum (Buruk). Adapun daya tampung kendaraan dan fasilitas yang tersedia di terminal Muka Kuning tidak sebanding dengan aktivitas 2000 orang di terminal dalam 1 hari. ********************************************************************** Terminal is one part of infrastructure that facilitates its users to travel from one place to another with the help of land transportation mode. The results of the evaluation are concluded that the facility owned by the yellow advance terminal is not efficient. It is derived from the average value of facility indices with a value of 2.4 for transport stops (bad), 1 for toilets (very bad), 2.56 for waiting rooms (bad) and 1.57 for public transport stops (bad). As for the capacity of vehicles and facilities that are available in the terminal yellow face is not comparable to the activity of 2000 people in the terminal in 1 day.
