Abstract

Vlog berasal dari dua kata yaitu ‘video’ dan ‘blog’ dimana merekam video berdasarkan catatan pribadi dimana berisikan tentang kegiatan selama menjelajahi Taiwan dimana dilemma masyarakat millennial akan travelling namun tidak ingin menggunakan jasa Tour and Travel. Disini penulis menjelajahi: Houtong yang terkenal sebagai desa kucing, Shifen yang terkenal dengan trek ketretanya dan juga lentera terbangnya, serta Jiufen yang sudah tidak asing bagi pengemar Studio Ghibli dimana kota tersebut dirumorkan sebagai sumber inspirasi dari film Spirited Away yang perjalanan yang terekam disusun menggunakan metode MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle) di upload secara online ke YouTUbe Prodi Sistem Informasi Universitas Internasional Batam. Solusi penulis adalah bahwa penulis membuat vlog perjalanan di di berbagai tempat yang disinggungkan dan melakukan penelitian tentang hal-hal yang harus dilakukan dan dilihat di setiap tempat yang di kunjungi. Hasil dari publikasi Vlog ini adalah video yang mendapatkan 200 penonton, 56 likes, dan 18 komentar dengan implikasi vlog multi-bahasa yang dapat dinikmati penonton dengan skala yang lebih luas. ********************************************************************** The term vlog derived from two words namely 'video' and 'blog' which record videos based on personal notes which contain activities during exploring Taiwan: Houtong which is famous as a cat village, Shifen is famous for his train tracks and his flying lanterns, and Jiufen is already familiar to fans of Studio Ghibli where the city is rumored to be a source of inspiration from the film Sprited Away. Our main objective is to help traveler to Taiwan who wants to explore freely, effectively, and efficiently without using third party service. This research are conducted using the MDLC method, developed using Adobe Premiere Pro CC and Adobe After Effect CC; and finally implemented through YouTube. The solution provided here is that author create a travel vlog in various places mention and doing research about things to do and see in each place visited. Output of this research reach 200 viewers, 56 likes, and 18 positive comments during first week from its launching. This concluded that MDLC is effective to used as model to develop vlog for tourism with multi-language vlog implications that can be enjoyed by a broader audience.
