Abstract
Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk mengetahui pengaruh risk profile, asset familiarity, investment objective, investment awareness, dan portofolio management memiliki pengaruh kepada investment behavior masyarakat di Kota Batam. Sebanyak 100 lembar kuesioner disebarkan kepada masyarakat Kota Batam yang berencana melakukan investasi. Data yang telah diperoleh akan dianalisis dengan aplikasi SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences). Uji coba instrumen dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah asumsi klasik, analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa risk profile, asset familiarity, investment objective, investment awareness, portofilio management memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan secara positif terhadap investment behavior dan secara keseluruhaan variabel independen dalam penelitian ini memiliki pengaruh sebesar 51,8% dan sisanya 48,2% dipengaruhi variabel lain yang tidak ada dalam penelitian ini. ********************************************************************** This research intends to determine the effect of risk profile, asset familiarity, investment objectives, investment awareness, and portfolio management has an influence on the investment behavior of people in Batam City. A total of 100 questionnaires were distributed to the people of Batam City who planned to invest.. Data that has been obtained will be analyzed using the SPSS application (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences). Instrument testing was analyzed using validity test and reliability test. The data analysis technique used in this study is a classic assumption, multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that risk profile, asset familiarity, investment objective, investment awareness, portfolio management has a positive and significant effect on investment behavior and overall independent variables in this study have an effect of 51,8% and the rest 48,2% are influenced by other variables not present in this study.
