Abstract
Tujuan dari dilakukannya penelitian ini yaitu untuk menganalisis pengaruh dari variabel financial management, parental socialization, peer influence dan self control terhadap saving habits dari Generasi Milenial di Kota Batam. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode analisis regresi linear berganda, data yang didapatkan menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 247 orang yang disebut sebagai Generasi Milenial di Kota Batam. Hasil yang didapatkan dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa financial management, parental socialization,dan peer influence berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap saving habits sedangkan self control tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap saving habits. ********************************************************************** The main purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of financial management, parent socialization, peer influence and self-control on saving habits within Millennials in Batam City. The research method used in this study is a multiple linear regression analysis method, the data obtained using purposive sampling method. The sample used in this study amounted to 247 people called Millennial Generations in Batam City. The final result of this thesis is Financial management, parent socialization, and peer influence have a significant positive effect on saving habits while self-control has no significant effect on saving habits.
