Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari variabel soft skills, metodelogi pelatihan, kompensasi, motivasi dan gaya kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja karyawan di dealer motor Yamaha dan Kawasaki Kota Batam. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode survei melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada 120 responden yang merupakan karyawan di dealer Yamaha dan Kawasaki Batam. Setelah kuesioner disebarkan dan dikumpulkan kembali oleh penulis, berhasil didapatkan 113 kuesioner yang diisi dengan lengkap sehingga bisa dilakukan pengujian data oleh penulis dengan menggunakan program SPSS. Dari hasil pengolahan data dengan SPSS diketahui bahwa terdapat hubungan antara semua variabel yang diteliti kecuali varabel kompensasi dan motivasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara variabel soft skills, metode pelatihan, dan gaya kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja karyawan, sehingga bila manajemen dealer motor ingin meningkatkan kinerja karyawannya maka semua penerapan dari variabel tersebut diatas harus ditingkatkan dan diperbaiki. Kata kunci: soft skills, metode pelatihan, kompensasi, gaya kepemimpinan dan kinerja karyawan ********************************************************************** This study is aimed to determine the effect of soft skills, training methodology, compensation, motivation and leadership style to employee performance in Yamaha and Kawasaki motor dealers in Batam. This study was conducted by distributing questionnaires to 120 respondents who are employees in Yamaha and Kawasaki motor dealers in Batam. The questionnaires were distributed and collected back and 113 questionnaires were filled out completely so that it can be used for analysis by using SPPS. From the data processing with SPSS is known that there are relationships between all the variables studied except compensation and motivation variables. Result of this study shows that soft skills, training methodology, and leadership style have significance relation to employee performance. Because all of the above variables closely linked to employees performance, then motor dealers management should improve the implementation of all variables above.
