Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui hubungan variabel keamanan kerja, kepuasan kerja, keseimbangan kehidupan pekerjaan, serta kompensasi terhadap retensi karyawan dari empat resort di Batam. Hal ini dikarenakan pesatnya perkembangan bidang pariwisata khususnya di Batam. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui metode survei yaitu pendistribusian angket terhadap 300 responden yang merupakan karyawan dari empat resort di Batam. Setelah angket didistribusikan lalu dikumpulkan kembali oleh penulis, angket yang berhasil diperoleh adalah sebanyak 255 angket yang telah diisi, oleh karena itu dapat melakukan uji regresi linear berganda oleh peneliti melalui perangkat SPSS. Hasil pada penelitian membuktikan terdapat dampak signifikan positif dari variabel keamanan kerja, kepuasan kerja, keseimbangan kehidupan pekerjaan, serta kompensasi pada retensi karyawan. ********************************************************************** This research was conducted to determine the relationship between variables of job security, job satisfaction, work life balance, and compensation for employee retention from four resorts in Batam. This is due to the rapid development of tourism, especially in Batam. This research was conducted through a survey method, namely questionnaire distribution of 300 respondents who were employees of four resorts in Batam. After the questionnaire was distributed and then collected again by the author, the questionnaire that was successfully obtained was 255 questionnaires that had been filled out, therefore it could conduct multiple linear regression tests by researchers through SPSS devices. The results of the study prove that there are significant positive impacts from the variables of job security, job satisfaction, work life balance, and compensation for employee retention.
