Abstract

Seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi, e-commerce menjadi salah satu pendorong ekonomi di Indonesia ini. Batam merupakan salah satu kota yang dapat mendorong pertumbuhan di Indonesia karena letak strategisnya dan merupakan wilayah FTZ (Free Trade Zone).Semakin banyaknya transaksi e-commerce yang di lakukan maka penggunaan jasa ekspedisi yang di lakukan akan semakin tinggi. Fokus utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisa pengaruh ethic environment dan organizational trust terhadap employee engagement di perusahaan ekspedisi di Batam. Sampel yang digunakan didalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan dari ekspedisi J&T Express, TIKI Express, JNE Express, dan Kantor Pos Indonesia. Dipilihnya sampel ekspedisi dikarenakan dari karyawan ekspedisi Batam dapat meguji pengaruh dari ethic environment dan organizational trust terhadap employee engagement. Kuesioner yang di bagi sebesar 132, namun hanya 76 kusioner yang dapat di analisis. Pada akhirnya metode statistik akan di gunakan untuk menguji hipotesis penelitian. Program yang akan di gunakan adalah SPSS versi 23. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ethic environment dan organizational trust mempuyai efek signifikan postif terhadap employee engagement pada ekspedisi di Batam. --------------------------------------------------------- The progressive development in technology enhances e-commerce development. It become one of the economic drivers in Indonesia, include Batam. Batam is a special economic zone in Indonesia. The growing number of e-commerce transactions affect the growth of the expedition service. The main focus of this research is to analyze the influence of ethic environment, and organization trust toward employee engagement in expedition company in Batam. This is a quantitative research approach that used the expedition company as the object of the research. It involved four expedition company which is J&T Express, JNE Express, TIKI Express and Kantor Pos Indonesia. The total questionnaire that can be analyzed is 76 questionnaire. Which later is analyzed using SPSS. The results of the research shows that ethic environment and organizational trust have significant positive effects toward employee engagement in expedition company in Batam.
