Abstract
Penelitian yang dilakukan ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengukur pengaruh dari pada variabel karakteristik dewan dan karakteristik perusahaan pada perusahaan keluarga dan non keluarga yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI). Variabel-variabel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini antara lain dewan direksi wanita, ukuran dewan, komisaris independen, kepemilikan manajerial, utang dan ukuran perusahaan. Sampel dari penelitian ini menggunakan 420 perusahaan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia pada periode 2012-2016, dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah laporan keuangan ataupun laporan tahunan dari setiap perusahaan yang dipublikasikan (www.idx.co.id). Data yang telah diperoleh akan diuji dengan pengujian regresi logistik binar. Program yang digunakan dalam pengujian penelitian in adalah program Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS) versi 25. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dewan direksi wanita, ukuran dewan dan utang berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap kinerja perusahaan keluarga sedangkan ukuran perusahaan berpengaruh negative terhadap kinerja perusahaan keluarga. Pada kinerja perusahaan non-keluarga, variabel utang berpengaruh signifikan positif dan ukuran perusahaan berpengaruh signifikan negatif. Variabel lain seperti komisaris independen dan kepemilikan manjerial tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja perusahaan keluarga dan dewan direksi wanita, ukuran dewan, komisaris independen dan kepemilikan manajerial tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja perusahaan non-keluarga ********************************************************************** This study aimed to test the effect of board characteristics and firm characteristics on companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX): Family VS Non-family. Variables used in this study are woman on board, board size, independent commissioner, managerial ownership, debt and firm size. Samples from this study using the 420 companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2012-2016 and were selected using purposive sampling method. The data used in this study are the financial statements of each company published (www.idx.co.id). The data have been obtained will be tested with binary logistic regression. Program of Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS) version 25were used in this study research. The results of this study indicate that the woman on board, board size and debthavepositive significant impact on family firm performance and firm size has vice versa impact which shown negative on non-family firm performance. On the other hands debt has positive significant impact and firm size has negative significant impact on non-family performance. The other variables in this study like independent commissioner, managerial ownership have no significant impact on family firm performance and woman on board, board size, independent commissioner and managerial ownership have no significant impact on non-family firm performance.
