Abstract

Kurangnya kesadaran akan pulau pulau yang terpencil di sekitar kota Batam yang menyebabkan tidak banyaknya masyarakat yang tahu akan keberadaan serta potensi yang dimiliki oleh pulau tersebut. Salah satu contohnya pulau Petong, pulau yang berada di seberang kota Batam ini memiliki potensi dalam bidang pariwisata, dengan adanya dokumentasi berupa sebuah film dokumenter diharapkan dapat menjadi salah satu cara untuk dapat memperkenalkan objek wisata tersebuh. Film dokumenter ini menggunakan penerapan metode Multimedia Development Life Cycle, memanfaatkan software Adobe Premiere CC dan Adobe Audition CS6 untuk perancangan film dokumenter tentang Pulau Petong. Perancangan film dokuemnter tentang Pulau Petong dengan penerapan metode Multimedia Development Life Cycle menghasilkan sebuah karya film dokumenter yang lebih terarah dan juga lebih terstruktur dalam perancangan video di dalam film dokumenter tersebut. --------------------------------------------------------- Lack of awareness of the remote island island around the city of Batam that causes not many people who know of the existence and potential owned by the island. One example is Petong island, the island is located across the city of Batam has a potential in the field of tourism, with the documentary in the form of a documentary is expected to be one way to be able to introduce the tourist attraction tersebuh. This documentary uses the application of Multimedia Development Life Cycle method, utilizing Adobe Premiere CC and Adobe Audition CS6 software for designing documentary film about Pulau Petong. The design of a documentary film about Pulau Petong with the application of Multimedia Development Life Cycle method resulted in a more focused and more structured documentary work in video designing in the documentary.
