Abstract
Di Indonesia, ada berbagai budaya sudah ada sejak dulu.salah satunya adalah cerita rakyat asal mula danau toba. Pada zaman yang sudah modern teknologi multimedia telah berevolusi dan meningkat , salah satunya adalah Augmented Reality. Dengan memanfaatkan peneliti Teknologi Augmented Reality memiliki tujuan untuk meningkatkan minat anak-anak sekolah dasar untuk mempelajari lebih lanjut tentang cerita rakyat Asal-usul Danau Toba. Animasi ini dibuat menggunakan aplikasi Unity 3D yang kemudian diimplementasikan pada platform smartphone berbasis Android. Metode pengembangan yang digunakan oleh peneliti adalah Metode (MDLC) yang terdiri dari tahap konsep, tahap desain, tahap pengumpulan material (pengumpulan material), perakitan (manufaktur), pengujian (pengujian) dan distribusi tahap (distribusi). Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah Aplikasira Augmented Reality yang dapat menampilkan video animasi dari cerita rakyat asal Danau Toba yang telah dirancang dengan baik dan menarik agar dapat menarik minat baca dan dipelajari anak-anak sekolah dasar untuk lebih tertarik dalam mempelajari cerita rakyat nusantara salah satunya adalah cerita Asal Mula Danau Toba. ---------------------------------------------------------- In Indonesia, there are various cultures that are widespread throughout the archipelago from Sabang to Merauke. Multimedia technologies such as animation have improved the ability to deliver information visually better. One of them is the development of the latest multimedia technology, Augmented Reality. By utilizing Augmented Reality Technology researchers have the aim to increase interest in elementary school children in order to learn more about folklore Origins of Lake Toba. This animation is made using the Unity 3D application which is then implemented on an Android-based smartphone platform. The development method used by the researcher is the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) Method which consists of the concept stage, design stage, collecting material stage (material collection), assembly (manufacturing), testing (testing) and stage distribution (distribution). The result of this research is an Augmented Reality Application which can display animated videos of folklore from the origin of Lake Toba which has been designed well and attractively in order to attract elementary school children to have more interest in learning folktales from the origin of Lake Toba.
