Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari variabel kemampuan pemimpin dalam mengelola kecerdasan emosional, perilaku kewarganegaraan organisasi, perilaku menyimpang pekerja, dan persepsi karyawan mengenai karakteristik pekerjaan terhadap kinerja karyawan di Kota Batam Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode survei melalui penyebaran kuesione kepada 350 responden yang merupakan karyawan pada empat perusahaan produksi garmen yang penulis jadikan sebagai objek penelitian. Setelah kuesioner disebarkan dan dikumpulkan oleh penulis, berhasil didapatkan 310 kuesioner yang kembali diisi dengan lengkap sehingga bisa dilakukan pengujian data oleh penulis dengan menggunakan program SPSS. Dari hasil pengolahan data dengan SPSS diketahui bahwa terdapat hubungan antara semua variabel yang diteliti. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara variabel semua variabel dengan kinerja karyawan, sehingga bila perusahaan ingin meningkatkan kinerja karyawannya maka semua penerapan dari variabel diatas tersebut harus ditingkatkan dan diperbaiki. ********************************************************************** This study is aimed to determine the effect of leader’s ability in managing emotional intelligence, organizational citizenship behaviour, worker’s deviant behaviour, and employee perception of job characteristics on employee performance. This study was conducted by distributing questionnaires to 350 respondents who are the employee of four garment industries that author choose to analyze. The questionnaires were collected are 226 who were filled out completely so that it can be used for analysis by using SPSS program. From the data processing with SPSS is known that there are relationships between all the variabel with employee performance. Result of this study shows that all the variables have significance relation to employee performance. Because all of above variables are closely linked to employee performance, then the management should improve the implementation of all the variables above.
