Abstract

UD. Permata Collection adalah salah satu UMKM di Kota Batam yang dijadikan lokasi dari kerja praktik ini. Kesulitan yang dihadapi UD. Permata Collection adalah ketidaktersediaan sistem akuntansi yang mengakibatkan pencatatan akuntansi dicatat secara manual dan tidak mampu menyajikan laporan keuangan. Tanpa adanya laporan keuangan, pemilik hanya bisa mengestimasi, baik itu mengalami laba atau rugi maupun mengambil keputusan. Kerja praktik dimulai pada periode 1 Agustus 2019 - 30 November 2019 dengan pendekatan pengamatan, wawancara, perancangan, dan uji coba. Luaran dari perancangan sistem akuntansi pada UD. Permata Collection adalah pencatatan akuntansi berbasis sistem menggunakan Microsoft Access sesuai kebutuhan. Sistem didesain sedemikian rupa sehingga pemakai menjadi mudah dalam mencari fungsi dengan adanya menu utama. Sistem tersebut meliputi tabel yang dilengkapi formulir pengisian untuk kebutuhan dokumentasi. Pencatatan tersebut kemudian di olah secara otomatis dan menghasilkan laporan keuangan sesuai kebutuhan. Dampak positif dirasakan, baik pemakai maupun pemilik usaha setelah penggunaan sistem akuntansi. Pemakai dapat memangkas waktu pencatatan dan pemilik juga dapat memanfaatkan informasi untuk pengambilan keputusan ke depan beserta menerapkan fungsi pengawasan terhadap operasional entitas. Hal tersebut dikarenakan pemilik tidak perlu lagi mengandalkan estimasi, tetapi mengetahui informasi secara akurat dari data laporan keuangan. ********************************************************************** UD. Permata Collection is one of the small medium enterprises in Batam City which become the location of this internship. The difficulties that UD. Permata Collection faced is the unavailability of accounting system which caused the accounting recording is recorded by manual and unable to present financial report. Without financial report, owner can only estimate, be it generating profit/loss or making decision. Internship starts from 1st August 2019 - 30th November 2019 by using observation, interview, design, and simulate approach. The output of accounting system design at UD. Permata Collection is system based of accounting recording based on the enterprise needs. System is designed in such a way so that it will be easier to find the function by having main menu. The system includes tables which is supported with filling forms for documentation purposes. The recordings are then processed automatically and generates financial report according to the needs. There are positive impacts to the users after using the accounting system. User can cut down the time of recording and owner also can utilize the information for future decision making and applies supervision function towards the enterprise operational. This is because the owner no longer relies on estimation, but instead knowing the information accurately from the financial report data.
