Abstract

Bangunan Bersama merupakan UMKM yang menghasilkan batu bata ringan di daerah kota Batam. UMKM Bangunan Bersama didirikan oleh Ibu Yanti. Saat ini UMKM Bangunan Bersama masih memproduksi batu bata ringan dengan cara tradisional, dimana waktu yang diperlukan untuk pengeringan batu bata ringan memakan waktu yang cukup lama. Dari permasalahan tersebut dirancang sebuah alat sederhana yang mampu mengeringkan batu bata ringan secara otomatis dan dalam pengeringannya cukup singkat. Proses dari produksi batu bata ringan dengan cara tradisional akan memakan waktu selama 1 minggu atau 7 hari sedangkan hasil produksi dari prototype alat pengering batu bata ringan akan memakan waktu selama 4 sampai 5 hari. ********************************************************************** “Bangunan Bersama” produces lightweight bricks in the Batam city. It was established by Ms. Yanti in 2014. Currently, still produces lightweight bricks in traditional way, which time needed for dry bricks takes a long time. Based on this problem a simple device is designed to be able to dry lightweight bricks automatically and process is quite short. Process of production using traditional way takes a week or 7 days while the production use a lightweight brick dryer of prototype only takes 4 to 5 days.
