Abstract

Pada era modern seperti sekarang ini teknologi semakin berkembang dan canggih internet sudah menjadi kebutuhan yang diperlukan untuk menjalankan operasional perusahaan, tetapi penggunaan yang berlebihan tidaklah naik selain dapat membuat kecanduan juga dapat menurunkan produktifitas karyawan menurun. Pada kerja praktik ini penulis merancang sistem manajemen bandwidth yang dapat mengatur pemakaian internet yang berlebihan yang menyebabkan internet menjadi lambat dan menurunkan kinerja karyawan. Dengan menggunakan router mikrotik penulis membatasi kecepatan akses internet setiap user dengan menerapkan metode simple queue, penulis juga memblokir akses user ke situs-situs yang dilarang perusahaan menggunakan layer7 protocol yang terdapat pada fitur di mikrotik. Setelah merancang dan mengimplemntasikannya pada ud.global suskes mandiri jaringan internet diperusahaan menjadi lebih cepat dibandingkan sebelumnya, serta karyawan juga menjadi lebih fokus pada perkerjaannya dikarena akses ke situs-situs yang biasa digunakan untuk bersosial media telah diblokir. ********************************************************************** In the modern era, as now, the technology is growing and sophisticated internet has become a necessity needed to run the companys operations, but excessive use does not increase besides being able to make addiction can also reduce decreased employee productivity. In this practical work the author designed a bandwidth management system that can regulate excessive internet usage which causes the internet to slow down and reduce employee performance. By using a microtic router the author limits the speed of internet access for each user by applying a simple queue method, the author also blocks user access to sites that are prohibited by companies using the layer 7 protocol contained in the proxy feature. After designing and implementing it on ud.global suskes mandiri, the independent internet network in the company has become faster than before, and employees have also become more focused on their work because access to sites commonly used for social media has been blocked.
