Abstract

Pada saat ini game yang beredar di masyakarat ada banyak jenis tetapi game yang paling sering dimainkan itu adalah game yang bersifat kompetitif. sifat kompetitif itu sudah dimiliki oleh semua manusia sejak lahir termasuk dari zaman dulu dimana manusia masih berperang untuk memperluas wilayah yang dimiliki. Dan sifat kompetitif itu sendiri bisa memicu sifat aggresif yang dimiliki oleh seseorang dikarenakan kekalahan tersebut. Metode yang digunakan peneliti dalam penelitian untuk mengetahui tingkat agresi secara verbal bagi gamer yang bermain secara kompetitif dan kooperatif adalah eksperimen yang melalui 3 tahapan yaitu tahapan participant dimana peneliti mengumpulkan para peserta, tahapan procedure, tahapan dimana observasi dan pencatatan data dimulai, dan tahapan result yang merupakan tahapan terakhir dimana data sebelumnnya akan dianalisis dan diolah, hasil dari dari penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa manusia yang bermain secara kompetitif cederung lebih aggresif dibandingkan mereka yang bermain secara kooperatif ********************************************************************** In recent times, there has been a surge in game genres in the market but the one being played most are competitive games. Competitive nature is inherent in human, stretching as far as when humans were still at war with each other in ancient times. Competitive nature itself can trigger the aggression of humans especially when they are on the losing side. The method used in this research is to determine verbally the level of aggression on gamers who play competitive and cooperative games. This experiment goes through 3 stages which are: participant stage where the researcher gathers participants, the procedure stage in which observation and data recording begins, and finally the result stage, where previous data is analyzed and processed. The result of this study proves that humans who play competitively tend to be more aggressive than those who play cooperatively.
