Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menganalisa pengaruh dari penerapan tanggung jawab sosial pada kepuasan kerja serta komitmen organisasi. Perusahaan harus bisa meningkatkan kepuasan kerja serta komitmen organisasi dari karyawannya, salah satu caranya adalah dengan melaksanakan tanggung jawab sosial terhadap masyarakat. Penelitian ini melaksanakan penerapan metode survey yaitu dengan mendistribusikan kuesioner terhadap 122 responden. Responden penelitian merupakan karyawan akuntan atau pembukuan dari semua bank umum serta bank perkreditan rakyat yang berlokasi di Kota Batam. Purposive sampling dipakai sebagai teknik pengambilan sampel. Setelah seluruh hasil dari responden terkumpulkan, kemudian dilakukan pengujian validitas dan reliabilitas data. Selanjutnya dilakukan pengujian asumsi klasik dan regresi linier berganda. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perusahaan yang cenderung turut serta dalam pelaksanaan aksi tanggung jawab sosial berpengaruh baik bagi kepuasan kerja serta komitmen organisasi dari karyawannya. Kemudian, penelitian ini juga menjelaskan bahwa karyawan puas dan setia bekerja dengan perusahaan yang ikut serta dalam pelaksanaan aksi tanggung jawab sosial dikarenakan perasaan bangga dan anggapan etis dari karyawan terhadap perusahaannya. ********************************************************************** The objective of this research was to analyze the impact of corporate social responsibility practice on job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Companies should be able to increase job satisfaction and organizational commitment of their employees. Based on that, corporate social responsibility to community should be carried out. The survey method was implemented by distributing questionnaires to 122 respondents. Research respondents were accountants or bookkeeping employees from all commercial banks and rural banks located in Batam. Purposive sampling was used as sampling method. Once all the results from respondents accumulated, the data test was analyzed using validity and reliability. After that, classic assumptions and multiple linear regression method were used. This research shows that company with corporate social responsibility activities gives good impact to their employees’ job satisfaction and organizational commitment. This research also shows that employees are satisfied and working devotedly to the company performing corporate social responsibility because it boosts pride and ethical belief to their company.
