Abstract

Maksud dari Penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui faktor yang mempengaruhi terhadap minat siswa SMP untuk Studi Lanjut ke SMK ( studi SMP se Kecamatan Gunung Kijang ) yang berada di Kabupaten Bintan.Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Maret tahun 2019. Populasi jumlah 346 siswa dan jumlah sampel adalah 238 siswa dengan menggunakan teknik Propotional random sampling.Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif dan Chi_square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: minat orang tua yang memiliki ekonomi tinggi lebih besar untuk masuk ke smk dibanding dengan orang tua yang memiliki ekonomi rendah. Terhadap minat siswa sendiri untuk studi lanjut ke SMK justru lebih rendah.Motivasi siswa SMP terhadap minat untuk studi lanjut ke SMK juga rendah . Hasil uji beda terhadap minat siswa SMP untuk studi lanjut ke SMK ditinjau dari status ekonomi sosial orang tua, jenis kelamin,s dan peningkatan belajar diperoleh: (a) adanya perbedaan terhadap minat siswa SMP untuk studi lanjut ke SMK dilihat dari faktor ekonomi sosial orang tua,berdasarkan nilai analisis Chi _ Square data volue 4.333 dan nilai signifikasi sebesar 0,037, (b) Adanya beda terhadap motivasi siswa SMP untuk studi lanjut ke SMK . dilihat dari nilai siknifikasi melalui uji Chi_square data volue 5,156 dan nilai signifikasi sebesar 0,023 (c) Ada perbedaan terhadap minat siswa SMP untuk studi lanjut ke SMKN yang berada di Kabupaten Bintan, dilihat dari nilai siknifikasi uji Chi_square data volue 4.458 dan nilai signifikasi sebesar 0,035 (d) Ada perbedaan motivasi siswa SMP untuk studi lanjut ke SMKN yang berada di Kabupaten Bintan, dilihat dari status jenis kelamin, dari nilai siknifikasi uji Chi_square volue 4.993 dan nilai signifikasi sebesar 0,025 (e). Tidak ada perbedaan terhadap minat siswa SMP untuk studi lanjut ke SMKN yang berada di Kabupaten Bintan,dilihat dari status prestasi belajar, berdasarkan hasil nilai siknifikasi uji Chi_square data volue 2644 dan nilai signifikasi sebesar 0,104 .(f). Tidak ada perbedaan motivasi siswa SMP untuk studi lanjut ke SMK yang berada di Kabupaten Bintan. dilihat dari status prestasi belajar, analisis yang dihasilkan menunjukkan nilai Chi_square volue 0,552 dan nilai signifikasi sebesar 0,458. ********************************************************************** The purpose of this study is to determine the factors that influence the interest of junior high school students for further studies to vocational high schools (SMP studies in Gunung Kijang sub-district) in Bintan Regency. The study was conducted in March 2019. The population of 346 students and the number of samples was 238 students using propotional random sampling techniques. The analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis and Chi_square. The results showed that: the interest of parents who have a high economy is greater to enter school compared to parents who have a low economy. Against the interest of students themselves for further study in vocational schools is even lower. The motivation of junior high school students for interest in further study in vocational schools is also low. The results of different tests on the interest of junior high school students for further study in Vocational Schools in terms of the social economic status of parents, gender, s and increased learning are obtained: (a) there is a difference in the interest of junior high school students for further study in vocational school viewed from the social economic factors of parents , based on the analysis of Chi-Square data volume volumes 4,333 and the significance value of 0.037, (b) There is a difference in the motivation of junior high school students to continue their studies to vocational high school. seen from the value of cnification through the Chi_square test data volume 5.156 and the significance value of 0.023 (c) There is a difference in the interest of junior high school students for further study at the Vocational High School in Bintan District, viewed from the test value of the Chi_square test data volley 4.458 and the significance value of 0.035 ( d) There is a difference in the motivation of junior high school students to continue their study at SMKN located in Bintan Regency, seen from the status of gender, from the Chi_square volue test qualification value of 4,993 and the significance value of 0.025 (e). There is no difference in the interest of junior high school students for further study at SMKN located in Bintan Regency, seen from the status of learning achievement, based on the results of the Chi_square test data volue 2644 and the significance value of 0.104. (F). There is no difference in the motivation of junior high school students to continue their study at vocational high schools in Bintan Regency. judging from the status of learning achievement, the resulting analysis shows a Chi_square volume of 0.552 and a significance value of 0.458.
