Abstract

Pada penelitian ini bertujuan agar mengetahui pengaruh Perceived Organizational Support dan Employee Engagement terhadap Affective Commitment pada perusahaan jasa pengiriman (Logistic) di Kota Batam. Penelitian yang dilakukan merupakan penelitian assosiatif kausal dengan melakukan pendekatan bersifat kuantitatif, subjek penelitian ini dilakukan pada karyawan jasa pengiriman Kota Batam berjumlah 1095 pada 4 perusahaan, pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan wawancara, teknik pengumpulan data pada sempel ini adalah purposive sampling, sedangkan analis yang dilakukan adalah data primer. Hasil pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1. Perceived Organizational Support berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Affective Commitment yang dimiliki oleh karyawan jasa pengiriman yang ada di Kota Batam dengan P-Values 0,000 dan T-Statistik 11,236. 2. Selanjutnya employee engagement terhadap affective commitment P-Values 0,000 dan T-Statistik 11,985. Dan Perceived Organizational Support terhadap Affective Commitment P-Values 0,000 dan T-Statistik 22,126, terakhir perceived organizational support terhadap employee engagement P-Values 0,000 dan T-Statistik 42,152. ********************************************************************** In this study aims to determine the effect of Perceived Organizational Support and Employee Engagement on Affective Commitments in shipping service companies (Logistics )in Batam City. The research conducted is a causal associative research by using a quantitative approach, the subjects of the study were Batam City shipping service employees totaling 1095 in 4 companies, the collecting data are using questionnaires and interviews, data collection techniques on this sample is purposive sampling, while the analysts done is primary data. The results of this study indicate that: 1. Perceived Organizational Support has a significant effect on Affective Commitments owned by shipping service employees in Batam City with P-Values 0,000 and T-Statistics 11,236. 2. Furthermore, employee engagement on affective commitment P-Values 0,000 and T-Statistics 11,985. And Perceived Organizational Support for Affective Commitment P-Values 0,000 and T-Statistics 22,126, lastly perceived organizational support for employee engagement P-Values 0,000 and T-Statistics 42,152.
