Abstract
Kerja praktek ini dilakukan pada Toko Batam Filter yang beroperasi di bidang penjualan sparepart air minum galon serta jasa instalasi depot air minum isi ulang galon. Tujuan penulis melakukan kerja praktek ini adalah membantu Toko Batam Filter dalam melakukan pencatatan persediaan barang dalam bentuk excel, serta menerapkan sistem metode FIFO dalam proses pencatatan. Penerapan dan perancangan sistem manajemen inventory dilakukan pada tanggal 01 Agustus – 31 Desember 2019. Metode untuk mengumpulkan data yang digunakan adalah metode wawancara dan observasi. Tahap perencanaan sistem yang dilakukan adalah mengumpulkan data-data yang dibutuhkan untuk dievaluasi kemudian dirancang membentuk sebuah sistem yang baru. Proses implementasi dilaksanakan selama 1 bulan yakni pada tanggal 31 Oktober – 30 November 2019. Kerja praktek ini membuat sebuah sistem manajemen inventory dengan cara merancang persediaan barang menggunakan metode FIFO yang dicatat melalui komputer dalam bentuk excel. ********************************************************************** This practical work is carried out at “Batam Filter Store” which operates in the field of gallon drinking water that sell spareparts for gallon refill drinking water and also receive installation services. The purpose of the authors in doing this practical work is to help Batam Filter Store in recording inventory in excel form, as well as implementing the FIFO method in the recording process. Implementation and design of the inventory management system is carried out from 01 August till 31 December 2019. The method for collecting data used is interview and observation methods. The system planning stage is to collect data needed to be evaluated and then designed to form a new system. The implementation process was carried out during 1 month from 31 October till 30 November 2019. This practical work creates an inventory management system by designing inventory using FIFO method which is recorded through a computer in excel form.
