Abstract

PT.Schneider Electric Manufacturing Batam merupakan perusahaan yang bekerja dalam bidang electric yang memiliki tiga jenis pabrik produksi yaitu PEM (Product Electric Mechanical), PEL (Product Electronic) dan Plant Sensor. untuk memproduksi sensor ada beberapa langkah kerja yang harus dilakukan dari pin insection,soldering,resin filling,laser trimming sampai final test. Laser Trimming atau Pemangkas Laser adalah proses pembuatan menggunakan laser untuk menyesuaikan parameter operasi dari rangkaian elektronik. Salah satu aplikasi yang paling umum menggunakan laser yaitu untuk membakar sebagian kecil resistor,meningkatkan nilai resistansi ataupun memberikan nilai pada resistansi. dalam melakukan proses laser trimming menyesuaikan reference produk dan juga ukuran diameter sensor yang berbeda (08 mm s.d 30 mm),namun masih saja ditemukan produk yang fail/reject dikarenakan pengaturan pada probe yang tidak sesuai, penggunaan jig dan blockwire yang tidak sesuai ukuran diameter. Oleh sebab itu diperlukannya Prosedur test pada mesin laser trimming dalam proses trimming. beberapa prosedur test yang dilakukan pada laser trimming yaitu : pemilihan BlockWire sesuai reference, pengkalibrasian probe (mikrometer sekrup),pengaturn kedudukan jig dan juga pemilihan jig yang akan dipakai sesuai ukuran diameter sensor. ********************************************************************** PT. Schneider Electric Manufacturing Batam is a company works in the electric fields which has three types of production Plants namely PEM (Product Electric Mechanical), PEL (Electronic Product) and plant sensors. To produce sensors several steps must be done from pin insection, soldering, resin filling, laser trimming to final test. Laser trimming is the manufacturing process using a laser to adjust the operating parameters of an electronic circuit. One of the common applications using laser is to burn a small resistor, increase the resistance value or give the value to the resistance. In the laser trimming process, adjusting the product reference and also the size of different sensor diameters (08 mm to 30 mm), but still found products that fail/reject due to setting on the probe which is not appropriate, using jigs and block wire without the size of the diameter. Therefore the need for a test procedure on the laser trimming machine in the trimming process. Some test procedures performed on the laser trimming namely: a selection of block wire according to the reference, calibration of the probe (micrometer screw), jig position adjustment and also the selection of jig to be used according to the diameter of the sensor.
