Abstract

Dinding penahan tanah merupakan salah satu bagian dari konstruksi yang berfungsi untuk menahan struktur tanah agar tidak longsor baik itu akibat tekanan lateral tanah, tekanan air maupun beban yang ada diatas permukaan tanah. Dinding penahan tanah harus dapat menahan momen yang terjadi baik itu momen geser maupun guling. Dinding penahan tanah juga dituntut agar mampu menahan beban yang terjadi diatasnya baik itu beban mati maupun beban hidup. Dinding penahan tanah dibagi menjadi beberapa jenis diantaranya adalah : dinding penahan tanah tipe gravitasi, crib, kantilever, ancored dan masih banyak lagi. Penulis memilih untuk merencanakan dinding penahan tanah tipe gravitasi hal ini dikarenakan kondisi permukaan tanah yang ada cukup terjal bahkan kemiringan lahan bisa mencapai >70% dan juga kondisi tanah yang ada sudah cukup padat sehingga dinding penahan tanah tipe gravitasi merupakan tipe yang paling cocok dibangun di lahan tersebut. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan penulis maka dimensi dinding penahan tanah yaitu lebar alas sebesar 2000 mm, tinggi dinding penahan sebesar 3600 mm dan tebal dinding penahan sebesar 120 mm. Hasil dari perhitungan didapatkan 1.75 ? 1,5 untuk stabilitas guling dan 1,84 ? 1,5 untuk stabilitas geser (1,5 merupakan faktor keamanan) ********************************************************************** Retaining Wall is a structure which is constructed or designed to resist and withstand the lateral pressure of earth or water. Retaining wall should be able resist shear moment, uplift momen, dead load of the structure and live load as well. The retaining wall structure is considered to have some types just like gravity, crib, cantilever, anchored and many more. The author chose to plan this type of gravity retaining wall by considering the condition of the existing land surface is quite steep even the slope of the ground can reach > 70% and also the existing soil condition is dense enough so that the gravity-retaining wall type is the most suitable type to be built on that area. Based on the author's calculation, the dimensions of the retaining wall are the basic width is 2000 mm, the height of the retaining wall is 3600 mm and the thickness of the retaining wall is 120 mm. The calculation results are 1.75 ? 1.5 for overturning stability and 1.84 ? 1.5 for shear stability (1.5 is a safety factor)
