Abstract
The purpose of this study is to observe what the impact of role stressor (role conflick, role overload, role ambiguity) that lead to the work leisure conflick which directly impact on the employee’s perceiving their job (job satisfaction) that similarly related to retention problem. Based on a survey that conducted and taken from the banking employees of five well known local bank in Batam, this study examines how various role stressor impact the retention (job satisfaction) of thesee professionals banker and how thesee impacts are mediated by work leisure conflick. The results indicated that among all the role stressors that lead to work leisure conflick, role overload has the most adverse influence on work lesiure conflick that would be impact on employees to perceiving their job or similar as job satisfaction that which would lead to retention problem. Statistically method used to test the research hypothesis is a multiple regression analysis method with the individual level of analysis unit. Primary data obtained directly from the object of research, a total of 225 questionnaires were distributed to respondent. Purposive sampling method was used in this study. The results showed that all variables had some effect with each other, despite of the percentage of effect is less than what to be expected.
