Abstract
This study aims to explain the attitude of altruism and the factors that influence the attitudes of altruism. On factors that influence attitudes altruism include career development, training, communication, participation, role ambiguity, trust, affective commitment, continuance commitment and normative commitment. This sample is an employee who works in the production. This research was conducted by distributing questionnaires to as many as 250 manufacturing firms located in industrial area Batamindo, with the rate of return of 237 respondents. The method used was taking nonprobabilitas sample by purposive sampling. Hypothesis testing using simple regression methods. The results showed that career development, training, communication, participation, role ambiguity, affective commitment, continuance commitment and normative commitment affect altruism, while the trust has no effect on affective commitment, continuance commitment, normative commitment.
